Re: Yannis

I thought this guy would be difficult but y'all proved me wrong..

Lynn that looks a lot better without that busy background

Peter it's 'bout time for a mini tutorial as I am stumped as to your excellent sketmudging you can use this pic if you want ( I've read the smudging references and tried some sketches but all I wind up with is a screen full of mushed around gobbly goo.. guess I need a tut on how to develop talent cause I Ain't got none and you definitely do! Help us understand!) Oh, BTW I LUV the sketches you have done lately, including this one! ... very refined !

aartist I like the way that came out, very nice

Lyle you somehow made him look more dignified.. good job!

John, nice strokes and texture I like it a lot!

Craig, I concur... now I wanna learn how to toooooo!!

Craig, nice job on Glass Man.
He certainly looks like he is in a fragile state.

Re: Yannis

Definitely like the glass sculpture Craig. Currently on a bauble binge, but, as many of you already know, binges change. lol Might try one of these when I get in that mood again (it's getting cold here in 'Bama so I might get in the mood soon).

edit:

Didn't see your responst OB; thanks.

Re: Yannis

Just took a sneak peak at your forum link Craig. You all are doing some cool stuff with it. I especially like the grass renders (I agree that the first one looks better) and they look quite realistic. I also like the seamless texture renders; almost makes me want to get it for that since that's sort of a sub-hobby of mine (within the retouch artistic renders of course). Thanks for sharing the link. FF is still on my wish list of things to get, but we shall see. 50% off is inticing though.

Re: Yannis

Wow Vitaly; very realistic watercolor. Wish I could find a filter that come close to this style, but alas, no such thing (at least that I know of).

Re: Yannis

Figured that Vitaly since it's too real to be from a filter. Again, fantastic job (just have two wishes; wish I wasn't so darn lazy and I wish I had a Wacom. lol).
