Re: Plastic Skin

Ok, I'll throw this one into the ring. Whew! trying to get that skin to look somewhat realistic...very difficult. I tried giving her some of my wrinkles, but she'd have none of that. Instead, I just tried to drab her down a bit. Yeah, that's it...that's why she looks so drab.

Re: Plastic Skin

Hi to all of you, it's been quite a while due to some family issues which are now all taken care of. It's so nice to see you all again.

Palms, "plastic" = "bank card" = "credit card" - it all translates perfectly

I was just sitting here reading this thread and thinking, "Oh my God what a strange lot of people we all are." One thread has over a thousand posts on how to make a human beings skin look like plastic and now we are all equally amazed at each others attempts to make plastic skin look human. What shall our children and our childrens children think of us all? LOL! What a mess is the human condition but I truly did miss all of you.

Re: Plastic Skin

Hope noone minds me bringing this back. I gave up on retouching and went for the painted look instead. Textured, watercolor blended with find all edges, color balanced and run thru negative picture adjustment.
