Plastic Skin

Can you bring this plastic skin to life?

The skin looks Dry so, Artify, Modify, fix her Eye, or beautify.

Give her Appeal and make her Feel so Real She'll Squeal with Zeal.

Clothes, Makeup, Shampoo and set curls or waves I don't care!....

Make her a Picasso or turn her into a Monkey....

Everything is OK...

Have fun! :

Re: Plastic Skin

Well I tried OB. I tried without using a skin texture. Used degrunging techniques, contrast mask, healing brush work, and added fake veins (maybe a little too strong; lol).

Re: Plastic Skin

Good idea with the additional of the shirt Palms (now why didn't I think of that?). The torso area was the hardest issue for me to address, and still, I didn't get the result that I wanted.

Re: Plastic Skin

Kind of ironic making a woman out of a dummy, which is usually what a woman does to a man . . . or do I have the latter backwards?

Re: Plastic Skin

Palms, that Black and White reminds me of a police Mug Shot... Impressive as always! ...

Peter looks like lots of hand work and meticulous refinement in or sketches here of late.... They are exceptional!

Dak, Both are artistic and moody, nice Job!...

Mitch, very subtle changes from old to young... or visa-versa.. but very well executed... Excellent work!! ...... and the 'monkey' version made my day; LOL ... Very nice!...

Dron I think you did a great job in reviving her with your revision... looks good! ...

Re: Plastic Skin

Glad it gave you a grin OB. I can't claim any skill on my part though. I remembered that St. Andrews Univercity had a program on there computer called 'Face of the future'.
You upload a picture (full face only and under 2m ) and then get the option to change it's sex, age, ethnicity etc.. Very useful in winding up your mates.
If I can remember how, I will post a link. In any case here is another sample of your Lady Plastic.

Re: Plastic Skin

Craig don't get caught in the fast lane with a plastic doll!

Mitch I couldn't get that site to work.. been there before and it wouldn't work then either... probably my internet settings!

John, looks like the curves and blur may have helped her some, sort of like the blurred reality I live in...

Re: Plastic Skin

This time I did do skin texture mapping by creating a seamless texture and blending/cloneing/healing brush work to get it to this result.

Re: Plastic Skin

Lyle, thank you so much! She looks amazing! Hopefully 0lBaldy will let me off the hook now. I do have to admit I'm in awe of the fact that he thinks I would have the skill to do lashes!

It is nice to be out of lurk mode. I use the RetouchPRO gadget on my iGoogle page so even though I haven't been posting, I read posts daily. This last year has been really tough so I haven't really been up to doing much retouching, but I think now it's time to start on some of the projects I've been saving... yes, yes, maybe even some lashes.

Re: Plastic Skin

I can't do lashes either Dena. Thank God GIMP can now directly use PS brushes (and there are all sorts of lash brushes for PS out there).
