Another Blonde

I haven't posted one of these for quite a while, Palms must be going Cold Turkey, so to put her at ease here we go.

Enjoy all.

Re: Another Blonde

from magician to magician
What did you use to make this?

I like the rainbow.. I guess on a diff. layer. Maybe it gives the look as if the painting had dried and colors were added later.
How would you go about printing this?

Long time no smudge, Peter.

Looks like a candidate. (But not for me.)

Yep actually about 3 diff layers and masks.
All done in photoshop, with a little help from some plug-ins, with a paper texture added.
If I was printing this I'd have left the paper texture off and choose the right paper for it.

Lyle your nearly always first with these things you've got good radar there.
nice coppery glow to that one.

OB you are getting along well with Fotosketcher I'm suprised no one has asked for tutes.

Skipatk quite like Lyles nice effect.

Steve long time no see, glad you posted nice broad strokes, though you gotta try the smudge game eventually.

Fran love the details good tones and sharp.

Palms Love the Hi Key and the smudge is great.

Joe ditto what Lyle said (and you didn't flip it)

Gilbert Can I look over your shoulder when you do the next one, that's excellent.

Thanks all.

Peter

Had to have a go at the blonde. Such artistic endeavors already here...Craig, she'll look better once the clay mask comes off.

Re: Another Blonde

Definitely some cool renditions since I last looked here. Thought I would take a different approach then the last time now that I have my new toy. Still had to do a few additional smudge cleaning steps (small price to pay I say; would hate to actually really have to paint this one).

Re: Another Blonde

Wow. I'm looking at the monochrome images by Palms and Peter S. Both have a nice softness but also a great clarity. Could you explain how these were made?
