Great photo, Dron. I'll play with it some more later, but for now ...

I was aiming for a pastel effect after the recent competition. Of the 2, I prefer the first one, but I'll need to work on the background. The pastel effect on the second one looksa bit too harsh.

It's funny how things occur to you. I was doseing in front of the telly and had a brain wave about how to achieve a convinciing palette knife effect.

It's a work in progress, but I think I'm getting there ...

Thanks Fran; nice watercolor too. Yes, I like mosaics. Been concentrating a lot of found object mosaics of late too including this cobblestone mosaic.
