Hi all,

Must of missed this one so thanks Palms for reopening this great portrait. BTW you did a great job on this one.
I thought I'd just stay conventional and do a smudge type painting but a little softer than usual so as not to disturb this girls beauty. Put a different background in and added some lighting effects. I spent about 45 minutes on this task and if I had more time I would have done more with the hair where it meets the background, A few wisps and strays in the air.

Great smudge work, like you I have been trying a softer approach and quite liking the effect ( as well as doing the way i normally do )
