I have to agree with what others have said. This guy was meant to be in a piece of art. Here's my basic oil take in Painter:

New to the forum alot of good stuff here, I liked the ole fishermen so I had to give it a try... shadow/highlights,curves,a little lucis and some clouds for the smoke. How do you link the thumbnail to the larger image? Anyway nice thread its cool to see what others have done.

Hi and welcome if you go up a couple of threads to OlBaldy's he has the info you need for image posting in his post ( it probably is the hardest thing to do here
when you have worked it out repost as yur image is to small to see

Thanks psalms1 let me do this again see if I can get it right....... I also painted on vivid light some dodge & burn.

byRo, love yours. all the right details. i'd drop the texture just a tad, though. shows through a bit too much. dont want to detract from the incredible image.
