No No No
I was trying a different style out and applied the diffuse filter a lot of times (set to aniso something or other) this came out the other end so I saved it.

Re: Creative Portraits: The Fisherman

I can't believe that I was the last to post any thing in this thread.
I was looking for a suitable picture to try out a plugin from Reindeer Graphics, called Adaptive Equalization. It certainly brings out he details , but it doesn't like smooth areas. I did some other stuff as well but too much to list.

Nice work Peter AE is one of my favorite filters, and it is one you can really mess around those dials with for different looks

Thanks Palms.
Well you kept that info to yourself. Your right I quickly found out not to denoise before running it, it makes some interesting patterns if you do.
I try to work on a dupe and mask and blend into the lower layers to get only what I need showing. It works very well on HiRes images especially skin pores, which is what I was trying to bring out here a little.

Don't get me wrong I wasn't making out that you were selfish (though who could blame you). I must search out those posts and see what you've done, (just so I can steal some Ideas)
