some delightful renditions here! and what a delightful picture to begin with

i thought there was a bit too much green in the overall image. so, i first did some retouching: color correction, airbrushing, a tiny bit of cloning, a usm to sharpen and so on.

next, there was too much background, so i cropped the whole thing to an 8x10 aspect ratio.

after that, i sprayed the background and then changed it with a selection and fill. did a little touchup there with soften and airbrush.

copy merged and pasted to new layer.

with the new layer, i ran a psp brush strokes on it, duplicated it and used a blend mode to soften the strokes a bit. and then added a brightness/contrast layer to adjust the lighting a bit.

and that was mostly it. probably left out something, but that was the main of it.
