Turn off the camera shutter sound

Hi
Is there any way to turn off the shutter clicking sound without turning down the volume for my music - it interrupts and startles me constantly.

You need to give us a little more info. Mac/PC? What tool, program, etc?

If your on a PC, go to "Control Panel/Sounds and Audio Devices", click the "Sounds" tab and disable the annoying sounds or select "No Sounds" from the drop down menu.
On a Mac??????

The camera shutter sound is coming from this website.

Thats a new one on me, I get nothing. Check your sound Schemes again, it sure sounds like its the only option to me.

I use no custom sounds for this website. Sounds like one of your apps highjacked your system sounds (it might not be intentional, I had it happen to me once). Go to control panel > system sounds and you can listen to each one individually.
