www.photoshopelementsuser.com will be shutting dow

Hey Doug,

Lately I've been hanging around at:

http://www.photoshopelementsuser.com...t=31005&page=2

But the site and it's forums is slated to close soon and they need a new home.

They are a nice friendly group, many of the folks there do digital scrapbooking. Lots of knowledge about Photoshop Elements. It's a bit different slant on image manipulation.

Is there room here at RetouchPRO for an influx of new users? Would it be a good mix?

I thought I'd ask before I suggest they try here.

Take care, Margaret

Re: www.photoshopelementsuser.com will be shutting

That's really surprising, they actually have a staff and budget and everything. Then again, maybe that's why they're closing it.

Of course everyone is welcome here. They'll even know the forum software already. We just upgraded our server, so we'll be more than able to handle the traffic.

As to whether they mix well, that will be up to them. We already have a lot of Elements users, probably a lot of the same users actually. As long as they mention in their posts that they use Elements they'll get good and appropriate help. That's just so no one assumes they're using Photoshop and recommends features they don't have. I'd suggest they add it to their signature so they don't have to retype it every time.

Browsing their forums it appears they already being offered several alternative places to go. But they can check us out, and if this looks like a place they'd rather be, welcome aboard.
