If I log in to read topics and view images, by the time I decide to reply, compose my thoughts and message, I'm logged out! Any ideas?

Re: Logged out in short period of time.

i've had this same problem from time to time. now, bear in mind i'm calling this up from a fairly shoddy memory, but i believe what you have to do is clear your cookies in internet explorer and then pick 'internet options' from the i.e. 'tools' menu. pick the 'security' tab on the new window and click on the 'trusted zones' icon. add '' to the trusted sites and i think that will cover it. i think. it might just work with clearing your cookies, but i looked in my own 'security\trusted zones' and i have retouchpro there.

oh, and i just looked again. when you pick the 'trusted zones' then click on 'sites' and that's where you add .

again, bear in mind this may all just be my bad memory, too

Re: Logged out in short period of time.

I was just about to submit my own query about getting logged out before I could compose even a "Quick" reply when I saw this one.

Does anyone have a definitive answer to problem? I appreciate Craig submitting his possible solution, but that approach just doesn't seem like it could solve the problem. If your computer doesn't see a site as "trusted", it seems like it would either not let you log on at all or give you a warning that you will be going to a site that is not a "trusted" site, and then let you enter that site if you say "OK". Letting you on for a little while and THEN logging you off because the site is not marked as "trusted" just doesn't sound like a very secure way to handle the situation.

That being said, if another solution isn't forthcoming, I will certainly try Craig's suggestion -- no one can accuse Windows of always acting logically.

Re: Logged out in short period of time.

I found that simply clicking the "Remember Me" block before/at signing in solved it for me
