| To those I have ignored
In trying to catch up with the email that accumulated during my recent internet outage I discovered a shocking number of emails that I never responded to. Some of these are almost a year old. All of them were cases of "I don't have time right now, so I'll flag it and get to it later", then I didn't and forgot about them.
I feel badly about this, but in my own defense I doubt anyone would be able to keep up while still maintaining hobby status. Perhaps I could handle it in a more professional matter, but mostly it's a case of not wanting to reply with "sorry, I don't have time to walk you through the restoration of your image" or "sorry, but this isn't a good image for Challenges" or "sorry, but what you're looking for is quite impossible"...you get the idea. I guess I just don't like telling people "no", so I just don't say anything at all.
I'll try to do better, but I just wanted to post this in case you're one of the ones still eagerly waiting for a reply. If this was a business my behavior would be ruinous, but even as a hobby it's still rude. I apologize, and I wish I could say it will never happen again, but it inevitably will.
I guess all I'm saying is don't take it personally if I don't respond to your email.  |

We've been waiting forever... sitting at our computers, staring at the screens until our eyes shrivel dry, hoping that someday Doug will talk to us. <sniff, sniff>
