| Marketing? Hi, I will soon have a website up and running, will post it up soon. I was just wondering what methods of marketing do you use to get as much potential clients on to my site? Also I dont know how much I should be charging, I will charge per hour, but what would be a good figure? Thanks all!!! |

| Well, I stay local and just keep in touch with the local design firms and ad agencies. I use the fact that I'm close and have fast turnaround as my advantage over other retouchers. I can come in to pick up and drop off work as well as use the internet. But I find face-to-face interaction solidifies my relationship with my clients. I am considering crossing the bridge into Manhattan to get more work though. |
