Where do you find work I always see people with resumes, I would have one however, I cant find work to begin with. I have 5-6 years of photographic experience with 4-5 years of photoshop experience, fixing my bad photos over the years, till I got better, than did restorations for family and such. Where would be a good place to start to find work (preferably online) Thanks...

I'm in almost exactly the same situation (with a few more years experience). In fact, today is when I finally decided to pursue this dream. I did a search for photo-restoration employment opportunities, and found a couple of companies to send an example of my work, in lieu of a resume. Good luck, I'll be following this thread for sure!

Also starting off I am also considering looking for retouching work. I'm looking in New York City, however. Anyone else have NYC experience in getting the foot in the door? I took an advanced Photoshop class at the SVA to polish off my skills and am ready to go.
