Quick Question

Does anyone know if there’s work in photo manipulation (I’m not sure if that’s the right word to call it). I have been working with Photoshop for ten years and I really enjoy this area.
Just curious.
Jill
PS. I have placed my artwork on cafepress.com (http://cafepress.com/goodnessdesign) and it's been doing well for the group I target but never thought to ask if anyone knows if there's work/career in photo
manipulation.

Re: Quick Question

My job isn't specifically photo manipulation, but I do a LOT of it in the course of a day. I'm in production and design at a printing company.

Re: Quick Question

Gee, with all the news about fauxtography and the media's manipulation of photographs, and Adobe's announcement that they are looking to release a plug in that will detect if a photo has been manipulated it would seem that folks who seek employment in that specialty would be verboten. That said, most advertising agencies do a lot of photo manipulation to achieve creative effects for ads.

Re: Quick Question

I haven't come across one where it would securely occupy one's entire work window, however, if you are looking to channel some of your excess energy into photo manipulation, or wish to revell in what others are doing, try visiting http://worth1000.com
