Hired a RetouchPRO member recently

My studio has recently filled a retouching position with someone from this board. His talent is nothing short of jaw dropping, his work ethic rivals my own, he does not settle for getting a job done but demands it is done right, his technical knowledge of sowtware and hardware is borderline savant and he is fun to just hang out with all day except when he rants on Cyber Duck. And he is not an arogant SOB like you would expect from someone with his talents.

No doubt he could have worked at any agency/color house in the world, yet he decided to come here so maybe he is not as smart as I give him credit. Serously though, not many people can truly blow me away with their Photoshop talent but this guy does and I am learning daily from him. Hopefully it will be a 2 way street, but we have some catching up to do first.

Who is this dude you ask? None other than Chris Tarantino, aka cricket1961. Some of you may have asked youselves "is he really that good?" I know I did when I read his posts. The answer is yes, he is.

Welcome to Texas Chris! Were a little busy at the moment but it should slow down around May 2008 for about a month. Till then keep your running shoes on.

And thanks retouch pro for the introduction.

Chris is a legend for sure Thanks again Chris!!! He helped me so much in the beginning when I was learning how to do skin properly. Now I am freelancing and working at a high end retouch boutique in London.
