Retouching Agencies in London

Hi,

I'm currently looking for retouching agencies in London. Does anyone know any of the larger more reputable agencies/studios in London? The only ones I know of are Happy Finish based in Soho and Taylor James.

Maybe Im searching under the wrong headings.......are they even called 'retouching agencies'.......or something completely different like 'Photographic manipulation services'

If you mean "retouching companies" in general there are good lists on www.lebook.com or www.ftape.com

Most are in London.

If you mean retouching agencies, as in "agents" , Happy Finish are about the only one I know in London, and they rep about 7 retouchers. (all very experienced). Some of the bigger recruitment agencies like mac people sometimes advertise for freelance retouchers to work in advertising companies I think.

Saddington Baynes have recently laid off most of their work force, so if you're looking for work, they probably won't have anything for you. I'm represented by Happy Finish, we have two locations, one north of Soho, and one in Shoreditch, they currently represent 14 retouchers, not including assistants, we're just not all listed on the website yet!
Other retouching houses in London include:

Aimed at the freelancers currently working and living in London, who have a lot of experience or for those retouchers who may need help when the busy periods come around.

You have to be a retoucher , with several years experience working in the industry, with the ability to retouch all types of high end work. No one from outside of London will be included on this site for the foreseeable future (the rest of you should stick with retouchpro ).

Hello,

I am also a freelance Creative Digital Retoucher in London.

I have over 13 years' experience as a retoucher, and come from a photographic background, with an HND and a Degree in Photography, and wide experience as an assistant photographer, and a photographer in my own right.

I have worked for a variety of clients, including ad agencies, design agencies, retouching houses (such as Taylor James and Morph) and have been freelancing at the BBC a lot over the last couple of years, working on many publicity images for their TV and radio shows.

Hi All, Old thread but i am looking for a retoucher to work with who is really fashioned focused. I am a photographer with a background in Art Direction and retouching in Advertising but want an extra pair of eyes and for someone to create a feeling not just clean images. Rather than a big firm or agency as i know most of them i would prefer a freelancer that i can have more of a one on one partnership with. I currently retouch all my own work and want to stop this but need a good reason other than just time to switch over. Any suggestions ?
