| Re: Photographers, you gotta love 'em, part 5 Well, I applaud him for how busy he is. He's obviously put a lot of work into his business, and is indeed has his thumb in a lot of pies. However Benny, i agree with your sentiment. Snagged shots of a celebrity from the sidelines isn't "high end." Also, "high end" retouching for $400/week, ends up determining that it is NOT high end. WHAT you're retouching doesn't matter. What matters is the client, and how you can further your career/bank account/personal enjoyment. This job post would satisfy NONE of these for me personally. I don't want to $hit on the gentleman here, as I don't know specifically what his vision is. I would however recommend that anyone considering this speak with a few "Photoshop Pros" first. I get to work with extremely high end photographers, models, technology, etc. But i certainly don't feel entitled. If the money/people weren't a good fit for me, i wouldn't be doing what I'm doing. |

| Re: Photographers, you gotta love 'em, part 5 I saw this ad too. At first I thought he wanted to hire 3 people... a retoucher, a graphic designer, and a digitech. After reading the whole ad, I laughed and moved on. |

But You Know What?they get people to do it and not just one or 2 calls but some are bombarded with calis/applications So what can you do zganie |
