When I was working studio for ad agencies, that's when I put the hours in. 130 hour weeks and stuff like that.

Now retouching is a little harder after about 10 hours you start to go a bit nuts and your eyes just get really tired. So for me it's a mostly 9-7 kind of workday.

And yes in this industry it's completely normal.

So all freelances here have not a life beyond the PC... Weird, with the amount of money they earn they could be quite relaxed... I suggest you coming to Argentina if you want to have more time to use in other things, however, I believe each of you love their work so, why having a social life? I'm working straight since August 2008 and decided to took a 5 days vacactions 1 month ago. I also work when people is partiying the new year, and I llove it.
Have to work so, bye...
