pricing for beauty pageant

I am putting together a quote for a beauty pageant shoot but don't really know where to being. I photography models, events and wedding but this is different since it is a 5 day span. So I am looking at being at the pageant for 5 days at about 8 hours per day. I will be doing some pageant and awards photos while it occurs on stage. I would also be going posed photos of the 400 - 500 young ladies in their evening wear, swimsuits, ect. They pageant is wanting me to do package prices for them which I can create on my own.

So basically should I discount my hourly rate due to the packages? I typically charge $75 per hour. Has anyone photographed a pageant before that has any thoughts?

your best bet is to offer different packages for the pageant models. offer at least 3 packages the pageant contestants can choose from. example: one 8x10 and 9 wallets. $55.00, 2- 8x10s 3- 5x7s, 4- 4x6 and 18 wallets, $195.00. Hope this helps a bit
