Ideas for flyers / cards

I have looked around the forums and will continue to do so, but until then, I am looking for some decent ideas for someone that isnt TOO outgoing / confrontational (myself) to put up business cards / flyers for retouching services. I know its probably not the best business practice to be shy but it is what it is. Any suggestions on places, or methods on going up to a business like kinkos I guess or somewhere would be appreciated.
