| How to drum up new business?!!! I'm looking to pick up some more business in NYC. I contacted many post production studios here and have tested with a few. But most are not looking for anyone new. I was thinking about contacting some photo rep agencies to see if any of their photographers are looking for retouchers. Has anyone had much luck in doing that? Just curious if that's going to be a disappointing project or not. Thanks for any of your help... David |

| Re: How to drum up new business?!!! "Not looking for anyone new" is the polite way to say "your work doesn't impress me". This is the same for retouchers, stockbrokers, writers, dancers, and waitresses. In NYC, the bar is going to be set very high. This is why "if you can make it there, you'll make it anywhere". |
