Retouching Positions North West UK

I'm a experienced retoucher trying to find a retouching position in Liverpool or Manchester ie the North West of the UK. Everything I find is London Based. Does anyone know of companies to apply to or any opportunities in my area. Thank you.

Have you heard of Protocol? Meant to be based in Manchester and produce hi-end retouching. I can't find them on the web maybe they don't exist anymore. Thanks

Not a name I know Dongle; I'm from the soft south! Back in the day, GBM were as good as any London outfit (may still be) and employed a studio of retouchers. Leeds used to be a good spot for repro and allied trades though it might be a bit far for a commute. Good luck in your endeavours.

Thanks for the info. That's great. Yeah Leeds is a bit far. I have direct trains to Manchester and Liverpool from where I'm based. GBM seems my only hope. Did find a company called Arkemedia too (Manchester) which might be suitable. Thanks for all your help
