quicker, yes, but i think it has to do more with what to look for. ill zoom 1000% and see sloppy maskes or obvious cloning/healing that has wonky texture.

some do, some dont. but ive had clients that like to zoom in and nit pick, so id rather save my ass than get comments on that. besides, i dont want my juniors to think they can half ass and get away with sloppy masks.

Why would a client zoom in and "nitpick"? Don't they just approve or disapprove the work viewing a proof?

Lol come on dawg, you're asking me why a person does certain things? I get clients that come into the studio to zoom in make comments then and there, then ask for proofs to make more mark ups. This goes on for endless rounds. It's like you've never heard of eccentric art directors or photographers before.
