I used to find that something similar to that final riposte of yours usually brought about a positive response TG !

Cheers

Well, I'm a bit guilty of doing the haggling thing, at least I do mine up front BEFORE the work is done.

If they start whining just when the work is completed and unless it's something I seriously screwed up, I won't hesitate to hit that delete key.

Believe me, I'm not one to be easily intimidated by a customer. If *I* have the...umm...gumption (yeah! that's the word!) to tell MY boss, "poor planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on mine." Then Joe dirt on teh street doesn't mean much to me if he's going to be a jerk about the work.
<no rap intended>

Three cheers for Rick and Tom,

Glad I'm not the only one who likes the delete key and the shredder..LOL.

I'm through haggling as my time is certainly worth something and I have yet to find a business where I can haggle over the price they're charging...you can't walk into wal mart and haggle.

rick,

re the avatar, it's a natural, the very thing. unless you could work up something involving a shepherd's staff and little flocks of pixels.

Chris W.
I never thought about using the shredder before. Maybe I could use both of them to accent the fact that I won't tolerate any foolishness when it comes to it.

My time is certainly as important as anyone's elses out there, and depending on the client, I might do a charity case from time to time if it isn't that big of a deal. But I will NOT be bullied into lowering a price.

In regards to the shepherd icon, I'll go ahead and see if I can do one in case anyone likes to use it. I'm kinda' fond of my coins.

BTW: it's portrait of me on it with, "In Rick We trust."
