Wow, you guys have been busy today. Welcome to Retouch Pro Mary. You have contributed some valuable information and I appreciate it. I will do more reading and research those sites later on this evening. What I have seen so far looks real good.

Jeanie your Practice Pay looks real good also. I wonder which method will be easier to set up and maintain. It sure would be easier if I had fixed prices on everything. Setting up a shopping cart to cover any possible price is not going to be easy.

Still haven't heard back from my Host yet. I wonder what he is going to come up with, but I'm not going to stop looking at other options. If he comes in too late then it's too bad for him.

Almost time to go home. CUL

Kevin,

The last link that Mary provided shows a way that you can accept "variable" amounts with Mal's shopping cart.

What I haven't yet determined is whether Mal's will work with Practice Pay. specifically the variable amount solution. It should b/c I read somewhere that Mal's works with Authorize.net which is what Practice Pay uses for the gateway service. I don't know for sure though.

As far as ease of setting up Practice Pay, I have a friend who signed up with them a couple of weeks ago (I didn't even know that when I'd found them in my research) and he told me that it was very easy to set up. (He is not a computer whiz!)
