I had the same thoughts! I wasn't quite sure of the technical ability of some of these finalists... Don't know that they quite qualify as "wizards"...
Ah whell, such is life.

Yes out of "hundreds of entries" I must admit I am puzzled by a few of them.

For what it's worth, yours should have been right up there.

(I just realized how that sounds in the midst of our despondant conversation... but I mean that in a good way!)

Why thanks, but I didn't expect to make it to the finals. I just anticipated that the finalists would be better (grin). But then again that's the beauty of art...it's all subjective and beauty is in the eye of the beholder!

I had fun with the entry and enjoyed seeing the different approaches people took in combining the images. Personally I wish that they had posted more than 9 as I really wanted to see more of the entries.

So sad...

I would have liked to have seen more of the entrants for sure.... pretty tight with their bandwidth.

someone at RTP posted the link for worth1000 here
http://www.worth1000.com/

I've been thinking of trying some of those challenges... it's done often which is good..

guess I should have named mine "bad breath"

Rondon:

After seeing the winner's entries, I thought that your attempt was at least as good as theirs.
