| | Agreed, should be put to rest with respect to TylerCruz who has probably suffered plenty at this point. The subject of work for hire through RP however, should maybe get a more objective treatment without it having to be at someone's personal expense.
One reason I say that is, as soon as this thread was initiated, it occurred to me that I know someone who could benefit from the skill and generosity available in this group. It's a local county museum curator who has both documents and photos in need of restoration or digital conservation. I haven't figured out how he could tap into RP for some help but he does have a budget. It's a small budget which would not cover professionally contracted restoration but it could possibly help pay for RetouchPro by way of members doing work for donations sort of like Flora intended.
Keep in mind that I'm thinking here, not arranging a project... I've only mentioned it to him once and that was casual.
It would be worthwhile to explore this sort of concept though, in a non-specific way just to see what ideas pop-up. It might lead to a source of funding to RP. I hope I didn't just step in... |

| | | Hi Dinagaran
Not a bad restore. Just a couple of comments. Colorizing is a different skill set. I don' t think the colors are plausible and you should look for links and tutorials on producing more accurate skin tones. On the woman's "borrowed" arm, you need to change the lighting on it. Also, the way you have done the dress, she looks like she is floating in the air.
Good Luck!

| | Hi Dinagaran,
I think your work is very good ....
I agree with Dave about the colours and the Lady in blue with no feet ....
Unfortunately, the person who offered this job is not at RetouchPRO any more so, this job offer is no longer available ....Sorry about that .....
Good luck from me too... |

| | | Mr Dinagaran, your restoration looks ok, but you need to improve. It looks that you are at a very infancy stage when it comes to coloring. You claim that you have 5 years experience in photoshop works. The colors don't look good. Anyway you should gain much experience in terms of quality (not years) in order to get overseas orders. |
