Website Design/Ideas...

Hi,

Not sure if this is the correct place to post this, but, well, here goes.

As creative as I think I am, I'm having a tough time in figuring out a "new" website design.

I've been putting my galleries together loosely based on the PBase site design, and am fairly happy with the results, but the overall design, from the Home Page on down, I can't get my hands around.

I guess part is I'm not 100% sure of everything I want it to show, but a good deal is just an overall "professional looking", innovative, creative, functional but easy to navigate design seems to be eluding me.

I really don't want to pay a designer to do it for me, but would like to find someone with some ideas, etc to help out. Of course I would give credit where it is due, or perhaps some work/trade could be worked out. I've spent hours looking at websites...trying to find sites I like to possibly model after...but I seem to go numb after all that.

I've been building my own site utilizing Dreamweaver MX, have read/re-read, researched all the "how-to" places, but am not actually moving forward with anything.

Curious to hear suggestions, thoughts, etc.

Thank you all.

Hi Jeffry,

As a web designer I have a place for inspiration and ideas at templatemonster.com. It's a great resource. I see that your current site is mixed with CSS layout syle.. Here is a link you might enjoy

Good luck,

I see you posted this some time ago. I haven't been here in ages.

So... how about this. Look at my site. If you like it I'd be happy to e-mail back and forth. And if not that's ok too. It's all a matter of personal taste.

Good luck in any case.
