My New Website

My new retouching website is about 2-3 days away from being complete but I would like to get feedback from fellow peers on what I'm missing or what I could add to enhance the site. It's pretty much done except for my ftp upload and some minor spelling and placement issues. Please give me your honest( I can handle the negaitivity) feedback!

Great design, flash buttons are awesome, color palette is nice and not too overly saturated.

only thing i don't like is the left side navigation...that grayish/tan box is too big and pull my eye away from your work too much.

On the whole it looks not too bad.
The only thing I would ask is why Flash, it takes a long time to load, and almost made me go somewhere else.

Yes, on the whole, I agree it takes a long time to load. But I though long and hard about this for a while. As it stands, for me to try and gain NEW clients, my website is the only selling tool unless someone lives right near me. If my website is what is selling my work then I need it to be flashy and edgy. I have been to many retouching sites and although the work is great, the websites are boring and I feel that I'm wanting more or something is missing. In my opinion, if someone can't wait the 5-10 seconds it takes to load, then they can't be that serious about hiring me.

Over all VERY nice. Don't care for the flash, it detracts from the images.

sorry, meant the navigation on the right is too big...i like the nav...just not how big that border is over there.
