We have been working around the notion for an image manipulation contest/showcase for a short while. The first version I mentioned in this post.

The gallery and site being used for that concept was clunky, not very user friendly, and was not very welcoming. Back to the drawing board, and a lot of work later...

We have managed to develop a gallery system, adding in a number of our own modifications, before arriving at a solution that is exceptionally user frierndly, very easy to navigate, and a breeze to use all round.

A simple concept... similar to "hot or not" type sites, sees the introduction of a rating and voting system, with forum style layout for comments and feedback to images, allowing a dialogue to occur between image poster and critics/fans.

We think this new site has the potential to showcase your image manipulations, or even your photogrpahy skills, in a very positive way. We are looking for fresh blood to post their images and help build what could be a great way to showcase your work, get feedback, and develop a bit of community at the same time.

An extra benefit of posting your images to our new site is that their are no limits on hotlinking, making this an ideal image hosting alternative for those needing to post linked images to other places.

Given the vast array of talent that exists here we hope that many of you will help us to build this site into something worthwhile to the image manipulation community.
