Template Recommendations

Greetings,

Livebooks recently launched a new campaign of template based web sites. All the offerings of the original livebooks that cost an arm and a leg, however this is template based and $39 a month - period.

I am in desperate need of a redesign on my site however livebooks offerings are very limited unless you ask for a custom landing page $DING.

Any other site recommendations? viewbook is another, but I am trying to get some options. And I'd like to host on my own server rather than some companies....

Thank you in advance,

Jerry Avenaim

Depending on how well you know html and php, take a look at themeforest.net

Re: Template Recommendations

Hi, I think you should try manageable flash websites from ReadyPhotoSite. There are several beautiful design themes in the gallery and you can fully customized each of them. The number of functions and options is remarkable as well. The sites are quite affordable and you can host it on your own server. you will find details at http://www.readyphotosite.com/

www.bluedomain.com has great website templates starting at $100.
I love mine at www.Ingoldphotography.com. I paid $400 for it because I wanted more add ons.

Re: Template Recommendations

Im afraid this last one has those 2 things that people don't like much... music and the fact that it opens a new window.

Re: Template Recommendations

I think, most of such portfolio websites (per templates) have a problem. They often open in a new very huge window and have content that still does not fit into the screen resolutions of the visitors. I do not like "full screen modes" so much. Navigation is mostly unintuitive. They are all looking the same also.
