Beta Testing -

Just finished my site.
I’ m not a web developer, but I did my best.

Original idea was to build a liquid site, but because of my limited HTML/CSS knowledge I had to go with the fixed one (970x580px). It’s made to fit inside displays with 1024x768px with ought scrolling.

I would like for you guys to essentials serve as beta testers. To check if you have load time issues, “bugs” or any other kind of problems. Your personal opinion about the site experience is most welcomed.

Home page has navigation similar to Janko Williams website, so I think any credits should go to him, for that one. Originally I was goanna make a pan & zoom slideshow type thing, but ran into problems with page load time and I had to put something on my first page.

I still haven’t been indexed by google. But I did submit my site to google, yahoo and bing. That was around 28h ago. Anybody knows how long it usually takes?

And off course the site itself:

Thank you!

Re: Beta Testing -

I like the look of the site. Functionality/Navigation is straight-forward. Speed is good.
Overall good, (however, not awe-inspiring).

Work is quality IMO.

Although I'm no expert, but I know getting indexed on google is easier if lots of well known sites have links to yours. Also making sure the text content on the site relates to the keywords in your html.

Hope this helps

Re: Beta Testing -

Thank you for the comments!

Awe-inspiring. My opinion is that photographers/retouchers website should be more like a frame on an painting. It should compliment the image, not overtake it. It should be about the content. I'm not trying to sell web design.

I have though a lot about SEO (Search Engine Optimization). Keywords, Linking from high paged-ranked sites and everything else.
