Retoucher Website (opinions welcome) I have just created my first website displaying the majority of my portfolio. Any feedback is welcome and appreciated. Cheers Drew http://www.drewsmith.com.au/ Last edited by drew-smith; 12-01-2010 at 08:34 PM.

Re: Retoucher Website (opinions welcome) Hi Drew That's a great looking site and importantly the images load quickly. It is all subjective of course but personally I'm not a fan of contact forms. I would include a contact number and email on your contact page. I'd also register your first name, last name dot com if available and have it forward to your main url. Great job! Regards Danny

Re: Retoucher Website (opinions welcome) Hi Danny, I completely agree with the firstlastname.com suggestion. This URL is pretty much a place holder until i find a suitable domain. I will probably get www.drewsmith.com.au, however need an ABN number for a .com.au address. Thanks for the feedback. Drew

Re: Retoucher Website (opinions welcome) I'm viewing it on a 17 inch square lcd monitor at 1280x1024 and its fantastic. Great load speeds nice use of subtle elegant pictures and gradient up top. Centered automatically. integration of both flash and javascript. And a contact form so you don't get spammed by marketing companies. A phone number is nice however, if you get people from other countries calling you, you end up playing phone tag if there awake when your asleep, ultimately making it look like its taking you a while to get back to them. So honestly, I wouldn't change a thing, I give it 10 out of 10.
