Best Suggestion for Before/After web galleries? I currently use SlideShow Pro for my web galleries but can only show my retouching before/after images as separate slides. I would love to have a rollover but as of now, SlideShow Pro doesn't do that (or atleast I'm not sure they do). So I was wondering for those that have good before/after galleries, what programs do you use? Do you have rollovers or something else? I would like to update my images often so I'm looking for something that's not too complicated. Thanks... David

Re: Best Suggestion for Before/After web galleries I would totally be doing my site in flash if apple would decide to support flash. Being that apples devices are so popular with the "creative types" it sucks to create a great site in flash and then have zippo showing up on ipad and iphones. I've been looking for a solution (not a programmer really) and it seems that our only option is using java.

I haven't investigated this, but it claims to be what you need I think. I've been thinking I need a way to get my Flash site usable on the iDevices, so it sounds like a solution may be in the near future. |

Re: Best Suggestion for Before/After web galleries I did find some similar options out there, bit they were way more expensive then the app you posted. The problem with HTML 5 (and this is just what I've read) is that the current browsers are not particularly stable with it. Now, i guess if you set up a redirect for mobile devices to shoot them over to html5 site maybe that would get around some of the problem . . . Looks Like some more research is needed.

Re: Best Suggestion for Before/After web galleries I just make mine rollover-images in Dreamweaver. It does it using java, but if you make it yourself you could do it as pure CSS. It will not work well on touch devices. It's an (easy) option so I'm posting it, but far from the best.

Re: Best Suggestion for Before/After web galleries Great link dmeadows. thanks for posting it! Thankfully the code is so basic I was able to figure out how to change the "transition speed". If you want it faster, just change the .05 to .03 or so.

Re: Best Suggestion for Before/After web galleries This is about as straightforward a tutorial I've been able to find on doing this with java - jquery. I believe this is how hart-worx does his as well. http://bavotasan.com/tutorials/creat...r-fade-effect/
