Re: My new website Hi Chris, this is actually a fun and overall well-done site! Design is nice, colors are attractive. A few things by way of advice: 1) It's Flash-based, so on my iPad I see a nice gray page background with your fine-print on the bottom. Nothing else. A whole segment of the mobile online population cannot access your site. 2) Being Flash-based (I assume this is the reason), it tends to be small and does not nearly take advantage of modern screen sizes. I'm on a 21" iMac right now; your site uses only 25% of the screen at its default size (though I see it can be enlarged, though the photos and other examples of your work lose detail as a result). I wanted to see some of your work larger and couldn't. 3) Any areas of the site as yet unfinished (which you alluded to) should not yet be accessible (don't say "Coming Soon!"; that just frustrates the curious visitor or potential client). For now, unlink those referrals or get those pages finished ASAP. PS: Your photos of the GW Bridge reminded me of this one of my grandfather there while it was under construction in the late 1920s. I thought he hiked up some cliff, but your photos show a nice paved park there ;-).

Re: My new website Lots of nice things going on there LUp but the form is dominating the content; it would have twice the impact with half the elements. The typography looks like an afterthought and the work samples aren't displayed in a 'considered' way given that the site is promoting your general design attributes. As Plugs says, drop the 'coming soon' - no one knows or cares but it puts a doubt in ones mind that wasn't there to start with. Overall, not bad but lacks focus and refinement. WiP! R.

Re: My new website Thanks for the feedback. I put so much work into it I don't want to drop the flash in lew of none flash. But I realize I have to do something in order for it to show up on iPads and other mobile devices. Do you have any suggestions how to fix that? I want the page to show up larger on the new larger monitors. I'm not sure how to go about doing that. To be continued....

Re: My new website I've been meaning to put that on. The music does fade out. But the visitor does not know that. The next thing I will do it put an on/off toggle button. Sorry about that.
