This is ART! Just beautiful. I see various stages of womanhood depicted. The youngest (1st) - bright, clear. 2nd - still some of that brightness, but more subdued. 3rd - somber tones depicting some world weariness even though she still has youthful looks. Very evocative.

Thanks. I'm sort of swamped with work right now, but I've been thinking about making a tutorial for "hand" coloring. I think I've left a few how to's scattered around on some of the posts. In a nutshell, I paint right on the photo, using a light brush - details to follow.

Stunning work -
Thanks for your opinion on my latest effort, I must say that this restore inspired me to have a go at colouring.
What I love is the way youve made the b/w white look coloured white. Also the most important eyes havent lost their look.
We want more!!
