AmphiSoft Simplifier:
Unlike the Simplified waitress with this image it is impossable to get any degree of quality using the Simplifier alone. This is not a bad thing, it is just one of the little quirks that one has to deal with when using filters on images and photos.
I spent an hour trying to get this photo to look like a quality illustration with no real success, again I used no other filters or manipulations in my attempt.
AmphiSoft's Simplifier is still a great filter to work with and can produce excellent illustration like images. Some photos are easier to work with than others but AmphiSoft's Simplifier is still worth trying out and using.

Thanks for the tip, Scott. I downloaded the filter and you're right: Under the right conditions it can produce pleasing results.
