You know when your my age and trying to survive hot flushes and the dog days of a Dallas summer in August and September. You dread another day of heat. The temperature is in the high ninetys at 11:00 at night. Paying the air conditioning bill will probably require another mortgage.
Some of that renown brutal climate in Scotland sounds wonderful.
I lived in Bedford, England for 4 years as a child -- in fact my first schooling was in England. The family never made it to Scotland. However, my dad did some golfing there and I believe may have looked for some of his relatives (Stewart.)
