Sorry... Posted the wrong image on round 1. Unable to "edit" that post. Let's try again...
I was messing around trying out a new "sketchy" photo manipulation effect. Tried it out on the image used in Retouching Challenge #8.
What do you think: Still too "photo-like"? How would you tweek it to make it more sketchy-like?
Comments, suggestions appreciated.
Keep having FUN!

Only areas still too photo-like are solid color areas and eyes. Looks good, though.
PM me about deleting the old one, you should be able to do that.

Hi Danny,
I think this looks really good but I'll agree with Doug in saying that the darker areas around the eyes are more photo-like or, perhaps more of a charcoal quality. I think the detail smacks of a photo while the general softness seems like a charcoal smudge...free of lines as a pencil sketch might impart.

Hey Danny...
I'm certainly not an expert at critiqueing other peoples work, but here's my 1 1/2 cents worth...you can shoot me at dawn !!!
Overall it appears that you did capture a "sketchy" look.
The only thing that is somewhat distracting, to me, are the heavy dark lines along the left side of the face and the left eye.
Losing the dark lines and making the left eye more closley resemble the right eye might add to the "sketchy" look.
