Well done Vikki...especially like the color you chose for the dress and her skin tones. The color of her right arm looks a little dead...I know it's in a shadow area but it just appears to be a bit dull compared to the shadows on her face and other arm. Of course, I am just being incredibly nit picky!

Thanks guys, I appreciate the feedback. Greg, I know what you're saying, but I'm not seeing it. Sometimes I have to wait a while, then go back, to notice issues. I can always find things wrong with past works that way. That kind of input is always helpful for continued improvement.

Image updated per Greg's suggestion. Well, the process was faster than I thought. I added a color layer, added some color to the arm, and liked it better. Thanks Greg.

Vikki:
Just came across this colorization, and it continues to amaze me how well you chooze and apply colors that absolutely look dead on for the period the picture was taken.

Thanks Alan. Perhaps being a woman has it's advantages here, as I'm just choosing colors that I would wear, or would have in my home. I've tried to do some color research, but there's not much out there. I did read that a vivid red was not considered ladylike, and that most men's suits were black, gray, or browns.

Beautiful work as always Vikki. The skin colors look so natural and glowing! Actually the whole image looks like it was originally in color. Superb work! How long does it take you to produce such natural looking results?

Thanks T Paul.
I'm not really sure how long it takes me. Not too long though, maybe an hour. The ones like this that are in good condition are a breeze.
