As simple as it would seem, coloring "black" is difficult! I'm working on it though. I didn't use my usual coloring method on this (experimenting). For this, I added transparent layers, set to "multiply" and started coloring - no selection were made.

Beautiful job! So realistic. I really like the coloring on the steps and pillars. The sharpening looks just right. I might suggest a slight desaturation of the women's faces.

Thanks Alan. It's funny that you mentioned the faces, as I was having issues with that. I took your advice. Can you tell the difference between this technique and the Primary Colorization method? I think I see little bit of a difference but I won't say, so I don't sway you.

I really can't see a difference in methods. I could hazard a guess and say that the primary colorization method produces a lower saturation of colors.
The faces look perfect to me now.
