Nicely done! I especially like how you have done it in stages, so we could see your progress.
Two things seem to stand out though. The white highlight along the nose comes across a bit too much like a strong white line instead of a natural highlight. The nose is a strong 3D object, so that highlight is not going to go down it evenly in strength. I'd soften it up a bit with a blur and reduce the highlight is areas. Try to envision how the light would strike it and which areas would have the strongest light reflection. Also the blush on the cheeks seem a bit too round and bold like a child, but everyone wears their make-up differently (grin).
Overall a very well done retouching. The hair highlights look great; the lips are nice and moist, although you might want to add a tiny highlight to the center of the upper lip. I like how you only did one eye on this image so you can really see the difference in the before and after. Great work!
thanks very much for the pointers! yes i do see the nose thing now...i was trying to make it how magazines make it look...the noses in magazines always seem very fake to me.
the blush i wanted to see how much color i could put on and still make realistic!
but thanks alot
