I'm OK with the face detail.

At first (and subsequent) glances the highly saturated flower colors in the background drawing attention away from the subject. I'd tone down the saturation in the face a bit, too.

I like the slightly off-center crop and her expression/head tilt. The hat adds (h)attidude.

Thanks Danny. It's interesting how everyone has something to positive to add that offers improvement. I'm done fooling with this one though. A friend sent it to me and asked me to print it for him. I've done that long before the feedback I've got here. I realized there was something about it that could be improved and well, I was right. I've got several positive comments that will put me on notice for future images like this. I appreciate you taking time to add to that list.
