One of my first retouches, i took this picture of my cousin on purpose because it was tricky to maintain tone, texture and pores of the skin, there were many tricky colour patches around her eyes...

Thanks for the comment Mustang.

I used a mixture between dodge and burn to even out the skin and tweaking the curves, selective colour and hue & saturation controls for the right colour...

Plus a bit of healing tool and hand painting in some areas.

Fred, I'm new to the site and I hope to learn from so many talented people. I like what you have done with the skin but I find that the models eyes were washed out a bit with too much white. Losing detail and also under the models left iris it seems there is alot more white introduced under the iris as opposed to the original. Overall it look really good to me. But I was drawn in by the eys and it was then that I've made this observation.

Hi Geeniuspix, i do agree, the model's right eye ( our right ) is far too white, but funnily enough the eye that is closest to us was naturally blown out by the sun ray... i should have made the other darker instead of trying to make them match...
