Chicken Pox- My son got the chicken pox despite being vacinated. Dad wanted to give him something to laugh about in between itches. While at first glance it may not seem like a lot of manipulation, it really was. Here is a brief descripiton of what was involved
1) background (shed) needed to be repainted to red to resemble a barn. cloned out a cell phone tower.
2) Mike was cut out from a different image and then neck blended in to chicken.
3) chicken, tennis shoes, chair and original signs from Hemara photoobjects.
-cloned out original signs and and changed text and added chicken crossing by taking a chicken image, cuttingout, filling w/black and masking into sign. Cooked chicken needed his wing distorted to rest properly on arm of chair. I did not like the way the original tennis shoe looked because it did not have a tounge so I added that thru cloning and painting.
2) masking and cloning was involved in nearly every object
3) toughest part was getting the shadow of the chair to look right. Thanks to Dougs tip recommending applying mask, it allowed me to use one of my plug in shadow filters.
Don't ask me what this is all supposed to mean, it was just done to put a smile on my kids face. I just never thought it would have taken so much time to get it accomplished. Sometimes our hobbies get the best of us - Carl

I applaud the noble purpose of this manipulation.
But yeesh! That looks nasty! (the pox, not the image)
