Shot by a New York pro studio photographer in the early '60's.
This was the toughest to cleanup of all the restorations I've ever done. It was covered with a constilation of tiny acid burn specs. The size of the jpeg here doesn't reveal how bad it really was.
Obviously this took the longest to get it to where it is now.

On this one, I could see the 80 hours... the type of damage there would be extremely difficult to fix if it appears in all the channels.

You'll notice I didn't include the bigger sister and mother as single portrait submissions. I'm still not satisfied with how they turned out color wise. They're really bad. Even after cleaning the acid burns, their complexion still looks ashen like a corpse.
I'm still working on them to this day.
