Ha ha!... my father one morning in his doorway looking rather perplexed about something.
Just a simple B/W conversion in CS3 and painted out the background with black to give some mood...

good choice of b&w. i doubt color would have worked as well. great focus/sharpness. the detail/grain is stunning.

Thanks Kraelin,
the 70/300 VR is very sharp up to about 250mm, then starts to soften considerably, but a very cheap substitute and as good as the top lens 70-200 VR.
