Nope, try again!
The figure is opaque thus alive and since I'm alive (last time I checked), she could be me. Alas, she's not cause she is sepia toned and all sepia toned people are my ancestors. The lady is my wonderful mother in her late teens, as are two others.

PS Another piece of trivia -- my grandfather was a photographer and the arches that represent the portal to the eternal were from a picture of his. My grandfather is the daper fellow in the straw hat to the far left.

Okay, my real first choice was the little girl with her leg up but I got confused on the opaque part.LOL So that's my new guess.

Okey, now I'm confused. Are you refering to the little girl on the left wearing the pastel dress or the little baby girl on the right wearing the red plaid nightgown?

The little girl in the pastel dress on the left is me.
I'm alive so she is opaque. She's not sepia toned cause she's not my ancestor and she's not 4 color cause she's not my descendent. She is the only figure who is tinted.
I am being held by my paternal grandmother who passed some years ago.
To my grandmother's right is her husband; to her left my father (shown in his late teens) shortly after enlisting in WWII. He passed on in 1997.
The opaque sepia lady (in her late teens) with crossed arms is my mom. Directly behind her both her parents.
Up and right from my mom is my son, Chris, in his late teens (in tux.)
The two wonderful people lounging on the word descendents on the right side of the collage are Celeste (in plaid nightgown) and Damon (in green shirt.) Both are my grandchildren.

The way you blend images is fantastic. I too love the ghost image holding the child. The arches give it a time travel element. Top notch work as usual Trish.
